Federal Financial Relations Affordable Housing Working Group

National Shelter recently made a submission to the Council on Federal Financial Relations Affordable Housing Working Group (AHWG) examining innovative ways to improve the availability of affordable housing. The submission was developed by Shelter WA, on behalf of National Shelter and in consultation with National Shelter Council members and other stakeholders.  It was endorsed by all members of the National Shelter Council.
National Shelter examines four different proposed models of improving affordable housing supply, including housing loan/bond aggregators, housing trusts, housing co-operatives and impact investing models, including social impact bonds.
