23-27 April 2018: ‘Trauma Informed Practice for Managers and Leaders’ was offered as a 2-day training course for homelessness sector workers. The purpose of the training was to explore trauma informed practice at all levels of the organisation and to address challenges faced by managers and leaders who work in organisations that support vulnerable or traumatised people.
The Lighthouse Institute delivered the training on the 23rd and 24th April at Hadley’s Hotel in Hobart, and on the 26th and 27th April at The Cherry Shed in Latrobe.
36 people attended the 2-day training course in Hobart and Latrobe. Of the 34 evaluation forms received, 97% of respondents rated the training day as good – excellent.
