Tasmania’s Residential Tenancy Act: What’s new, what’s coming, and everything you need to know

December 2018: ‘Tasmania’s Residential Tenancy Act: What’s new, what’s coming, and everything you need to know’ was offered in response to the success of previous RTA training presented by the Tenants’ Union of Tasmania in 2016. The purpose of the training was to educate workers new to the homelessness sector and to update the knowledge of more experienced practitioners, particularly due to changes to the RTA since the initial training.

Meredith Barton from the Tenants’ Union delivered the training as part of the Specialist Homelessness Services State-wide forum on 11th December 2018 in Launceston.

29 people attended the 2.5 hour training session. Of the 27 evaluation forms received, 93% of respondents rated the training day as good – excellent.
