Homelessness NSW is excited to extend a warm invitation to members and allies for the online launch of an important piece of research on the impact of long waits for social housing – Waithood: The Experiences of Applying for and Waiting for Social Housing. This research was conducted in NSW, Tasmania and Queensland.

The online event will feature a presentation by lead author Alan Morris of the Institute of Public Policy and Governance, University of Technology Sydney, as well as a panel discussion on the lived experience of waiting for social housing, and the policy and practice implications. The research paper will be available to participants straight after the launch.
