In partnership with Catholic Education, Centacare Evolve Housing will be running information sessions on homelessness and community housing in schools during July and August.
They will provide a short presentation and activity to decorate little wooden and paper houses with the students. These houses will then be gathered and will be displayed at libraries, councils, events and schools during Homelessness Week. The presentation will include statistics and activities for students to get involved with.
Upon request, Centacare Evolve Housing staff will attend schools to deliver these sessions. Catholic Education will also include housing and homelessness in the curriculum for term 3, as a continued learning for grade 5/6 students.
If you would like a pack of wooden houses to display at your event or organization please contact Elise Parker at firstname.lastname@example.org
