De-Stigmatising Borderline Personality Disorder

Feedback collected from Tasmanian SHS organisations revealed a need for further training in mental health and trauma-based care, and the Reference Group had identified Borderline Personality Disorder as an important area to provide training in, as had been raised as an issue in services.

‘De-stigmatising Borderline Personality Disorder’ (BPD) training was held on the 27th April at the Waterfront Function Centre in Devonport, and the 28th April at Hadley’s hotel in Hobart.

Of the 44 participants, 42 evaluation forms were returned. 100% of respondents rated the training as good to excellent, which was another very positive outcome for participants and the WDS Project.
