Shelter Tas collaborated with the Alcohol, Tobacco and other Drugs Council (ATDC) to deliver crystal methamphetamine training, which was held on 7th July 2015 in Devonport and in Hobart on 9th July.
Of the total 252 participants, 77 people attended the training in Devonport and 175 in Hobart. 50 places were allocated to homelessness sector workers; and from this availability 20 places were available to SHS workers in Devonport and 30 in Hobart. The representation from a range of sectors allowed participants to network and to gain a better understanding of crystal methamphetamine.
Of the evaluation responses received, 87% noted that their expectations of the training were met.
